Aleko Hut

Aleko Hut is located at 1 840 meters above sea level at Vitosha Mountain, above Sofia city and is the second oldest chalet in Bulgaria - opened in year 1925.



It has 90 beds, distributed in rooms with 2, 3, 6, and 8 beds, three apartments, free parking, restaurant, day bar, ski and snowboard depot and local heating. All the rooms and the apartments on the first floor have been renovated in 2025. On each floor there are bathrooms with separate shower cabins.



Aleko Chalet is about 21 km or 40 minutes by car from downtown Sofia and is open every day, from 8am - 10pm year-round. You can reach the hut from Dragalevtsi district by a paved road that ends just about 150 meters from the hut.



The hut is situated next to the ski slope from which you can get directly to the ski run Stenata and Vitoshko Lale. At the ground floor we have large ski and snowboard depots with modern equipment.
