The town of Kocherinovo is located 3 kilometers away from the highway E 79 and only 25 kilometers to the west from the Rila Monastery. The town is situated at the foot of the Rila Mountain, near the Struma and Rilska rivers, at an altitude of 380 meters above sea level.



Kocherinovo has approximately 3 500 inhabitants. The old times' settlement is founded in the XVIII century. The first school in town is established in 1864. The community center, known also as Chitalishte Probuda is founded in 1919.



Kocherinovo is called by many people The Town of the Storks. Here in the spring, more than 20 stork nests can be seen all around the town and this gives a special appearance of the place.



Michelle hotel is the only 2–star hotel in town. It is located in the center of Kocherinovo, right next to the road heading to the Rila Monastery. The strategic location is convenient for the tourists intending to visit the Monastery.



The hotel offers to the customers 2 room with 3 beds, 3 rooms with 1 full-size bed each and one room with two beds. All rooms are furnished with style. Each of them has an air-conditioning system and satellite television. All necessary for a complete rest is at customers` disposal.



Our restaurant has 35 seats. We offer to our guests а Bulgarian style cuisine - carefully cooked by a professional chef.



A large variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are also available at the restaurant`s bar.
