Only 9 km from the city of Pleven is the village of Tuchenitsa, from which the famous Kaylaka Park begins, known for its unique nature and history.



At the beginning of the village, near the river, is the Metsovata Vodenitsa. There are three buildings at your disposal:



The Old Vodenitsa, more than 300 years old, is a cultural and historical monument. It was the headquarters of Gen. Totleben during the Russian-Turkish War of Liberation. The bedroom of the mill was the accommodation of Professor Pirogov and the great artist Vereshchagin. Tsar Alexander II spent the night in this bedroom during the inspection of his troops before the attack on the city of Pleven.



The new building is built in the same architectural style and is connected to the old house by a covered barbecue.
