The Baba Vida fortress is the only fully preserved medieval castle in Bulgaria and it overlooks majestically the banks of the Danube River in the Town of Vidin which is situated 48 km away. The Rabisha Lake is 36 km away and it is situated between the Village of Tolovitsa, Municipality of Makresh and the Village of Rabisha, Municipality of Belogradchik.
