The Pastra Retreat Center is located in the small mountain village of Pastra, in the immediate vicinity of the Rila Monastery, about an hour's drive from Sofia. What makes our event center special is its privacy! The place is reached by a bridge over the Rilska River, which always brings fresh air and is its northern border. It separates the center from civilization and the village of Pastra and brings you next to the wild forests and meadows of Rila mountain. The center has no neighbors in any direction and is located on an area of about 6,500 square meters, in which there are many moraines, beautiful meadows, three streams cross it with two waterfalls. His undisputed jewel in the crown is the specially named, consecrated and blessed Cedar - a wishing tree that was planted by three generations of our kind! In the short time of its existence, it has already fulfilled two very responsible wishes!



We created this center with the idea of learning and sharing with our guests the knowledge and experience we have gained over the years in the field of meditations and techniques for breathing, eating and fasting, as well as various types of therapies on a physical and energy level.



Retreat Center Pastra has 6 individual rooms with their own bathrooms.



At the highest point of the center, in a room full of light, is the practice hall - the place to realize your own light.



On the first floor, our cozy kitchen awaits you, where preparing your food is also a practice. The better and more consciously you take care of your physical body, the more your inner darkness that obstructs the amazing view of your sparkling soul will dissipate.



The village of Pastra is a small and quiet mountain village. Extremely clean and peaceful place in the heart of Rila mountain. It is located near the Stob Pyramids - rock formations above the village of Stob, at the foot of the Kalin Dam - the highest dam in the Balkans (2400 m above sea level) and the most valuable place to visit - the Rila Monastery! The Rilska River passes through the village - with extremely clean water, along which several fish hatcheries have been built.
