Hug Center Hostel was built in 1980 by a state-owned tourist company to be used for summer camp for boy scouts. Since 1990 the property was abandoned and the building was used for warehouses.



This year we decided to restore the dormitory to its original shape following the principles and the concept of MaRCo (Mobility and Responsible Consumption) using available materials and the support of volunteers. The idea is to promote responsible consumption and create a community for exchanging ideas with the local people.



The accommodation is simple and clean using the original exterior and interior to preserve the maximum authentic feeling of the past.



Hug Center Hostel Policies and Conditions:

- We operate on an advised donation policy (minimum €10 for mixed dorm accommodation)



- A safe space to stay with a cooperative and community focused outlook
