The historical First Gun bridge is also very close, where on April 20, 1876, the beginning of the Bulgarian national liberation movement was laid. Every year on May 1st, the guests of Phoenix house become empathetic to the reproduction of the emblematic events of the April Uprising.

Only 100 km from Sofia and 90 km from Plovdiv, our old-world town is very suitable for a weekend stroll. In addition to the cultural-historical tours along the cobbled streets and the picturesque course of the Topolnitsa River, the town also offers other entertainment - horse riding, eco-tourist walks, cycling, fishing, gathering herbs and berries. Upon prior request, we offer visits to various natural sites in the region.

The veranda in a typical Koprivshtitsa style gives you the opportunity to enjoy the unique view of the town and nature in the area.
