Ethnographic complex “Bulgarka” is situated in the centre of architectural reserve Arbanasy, close to the church of “St. Atanas”. We have kept the first foundations of the complex, which were laid more than three hundred years ago, so that each of you can experience the way of life and culture of our predecessors.



The Ethnographic complex “Bulgarka” has three 3 luxurious apartments, a pub seating 100 people and a summer flower garden, which seats 250 people.

Pernik masked dancers, Rodopy hot ash walkers, long collective dances(hora) and fast single dances(rachenitsa) add to the menu of the old women’s delicious meals from the old kept recipes; meals scented by domestic herbs and a little bit of love from us.

It is your choice to decide whether to use our professional tour guides who are willing to show you the history and mysticism of every place from our district. An ATV ride, horse ride, organized hunting and fishing, partying in night clubs and piano bars…and that is not all! We know how to please you!
