Guest House Gyumyurdzhinski Snezhnik is located in the southernmost Bulgarian village - Gorno Kapinovo, a starting point for walks through the protected area Gyumyurdzhinski Snezhnik and for hikes to Veikata peak (1463 m) - the southernmost geographical point in Bulgaria and the highest peak in the Bulgarian part of the Eastern Rhodopes.



We offer accommodation in cozy rooms with 3 beds, a beautiful garden above the river with separate corners for rest and relaxation, as well as local specialties (patatnik, wedge) from the Rhodope cuisine by prior arrangement.



Opportunity for transport to Hvoynova Polyana hut, from which the path to Veikata peak starts. 11 plant species are included in the Red Book of Bulgaria. Some of them are Rhodope cream (Balkan endemic, the only locality for the Eastern Rhodopes), Cossack juniper, yew, mountain maple, beech and others. The fauna is less studied. A bald eagle, a small hawk, a wasp, a black woodpecker, a small hawk, a bear, etc. have been found. Many of the separate protected natural sites in the municipality of Kirkovo fall within the territory of Gyumyurdzhinski Snezhnik.
