The region of Madhzarovo is famous not only with the beautiful nature and landscapes. The cliffs around the town are home to the largest population of Egyptian and Griffon vulture in Bulgaria. The town itself is located in the crater of a volcano.

Except of the numerous options for walking, hiking and trekking, in the area you could enjoy kayaking in Arda river, wild bird watching, treasure hunting, exploring ancient Thracian sites.



Upon request at the house we could organize folklore show programs, wine tasting of local vineyards, culinary workshops.
