Dara Bungalows are part of the Dara Dharma Retreat Center, located near the town of Kalofer in the picturesque area of Byala Reka (White River). Surrounded by nature, the houses are ideal for solitude, family vacations, group gatherings, and celebrations.
The center features two halls suitable for yoga practice and various events.
Each house offers two private rooms, and every room is equipped with a bathroom, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, and access to a shared terrace. Guests can use the common kitchen area, which is spacious and fully equipped with everything needed. The large yard includes a comfortable outdoor gazebo with a barbecue, as well as tables and seating both indoors and outdoors.
During your stay, you can sign up for yoga classes or enjoy a relaxing massage. A delicious homemade breakfast is also available upon request.
Nearby you will find the famous White River Eco Trail, the Kalofer Men’s Monastery, and the starting point of hiking routes to Paradise Hut (about 3 hours), Paradise Waterfall, and Botev Peak (around 6 hours). Upon prior request, we can arrange a trek with a certified mountain guide.
Within 16 km of the property, there is a horse-riding base and hot mineral baths in the town of Banya. In good weather, we can also organize a paragliding experience in Sopot.
Pets are welcome for a small additional fee.
Mobile coverage in the area is limited, but Wi-Fi is available in a designated part of the complex.
Dara Bungalows are reached via a 5 km dirt road starting from the town of Kalofer, which follows the route to the Men’s Monastery.
