The Shkorpilovtsi Resort is located 30 km south of Varna, 35 km from Varna Airport, and 94 km north of Burgas. The resort is where the most picturesque part of the Eastern Balkan Mountains meets the Black Sea coast. It is surrounded by lush coniferous and deciduous forests and features an unspoiled sandy beach stretching approximately 12 km in length and 100–120 meters in width, with sections covered by natural sand dunes. The area is especially popular for children's holidays and outdoor activities. About 8 km to the north lies the well-known Kamchia Children's Sports and Recreation Complex, with the beach of Shkorpilovtsi extending all the way to it.



Marine Dunes Children's Complex in Shkorpilovtsi opened in 2014. Located right next to the sand dunes, the complex consists of three separate sections, including a hotel building, two-story villas, and bungalows, with a total capacity of more than 1,000 beds.
