House Madara Omaya, Madara offers 8 beds in total.

We offer opportunities for recreation and tourism in the village of Madara. The village is located 40 minutes by car from Varna and 10 minutes from Shumen, 4 km south of the Varna-Sofia highway. Located just below the rocks of the Madara National Historical and Archaeological Reserve and the Madara Horseman, chosen as a global symbol of Bulgaria. The Madara Horseman is the only monumental stone relief in Europe from the beginning of the VIII century. It is cut at a height of 23 meters from the base of a vertical rock.



The reserve is the largest cult complex in the Balkans - much older and larger than Delphi, Dodona or other Greek oracles known today in Europe.

The uniqueness of the monument gives grounds to be included in the book of monuments of world cultural significance of UNESCO in 1972.



We offer two separate guest houses, built in the spirit of the old Bulgarian architectural traditions. The houses are one-storey, with 60 sq. M built-up area and 17 sq. M covered terrace. They are located in a yard of 1400 sq. M.



Each house consists of a living room with a kitchenette (19 sq. M), two bedrooms (14 and 10 sq. M), a bathroom with a toilet and a covered terrace. The rooms have a large volume, as the ceilings are over 3 m high. It is left to see part of the supporting beams, which creates a specific atmosphere.

There is satellite TV and wireless internet access.
