Welcome to the Chardaka guest house, dear guests of Kalofer! Whether you just move through the city or coming to rest in Kalofer, you can feel the quietness and the power of nature, the strong embrace of the mountain, and the Renaissance's fighting spirit, which is felt almost as strongly in Bulgaria, as in this little town filled with churches and monasteries.



The house was sustained in Kalofer classical architectural style. There are 6 bright and spacious rooms for 12 to 14 (10 basic beds), each with its own bathroom, cable TV, and wireless internet. The house is named after a large veranda that looks over the top of the old house to the southern meadows of Kalofer and Chafadaritsa, Djendem and precipices of Mount Botev. And in the cold winter nights, you can warm yourself near the fireplace in the authentic old winery house.



You may want to cook your own food, but if you want to be pampered, the owners will take care of you preparing the most delicious dishes! Along the clear waters of Tundja River, you can have your picnic in the specifically built for the tourists' barbecue spots on the White River, in nature. An eco path will take you through impassable places by the White River, giving you the opportunity to experience one of the few remaining places in Europe, which still form new plant species.



From Kalofer start the tourist routes in the Central Balkan National Reserve - Rai Hut and Botev Peak, the highest waterfall in the Balkans - Raysko Pryskalo and the Djendem Reserve. It may be available professional mountain guides with an equipment for one- or two-day horse or hiking trails.



Near the town are the mineral beaches of Banya and Hissar Resorts, with indoor swimming pools, and excavations of ancient Starosel. In the town of Sopot you can try to hang gliding, and more - under appropriate conditions, the host will bring you fishing or collecting mushrooms and will tell you the legend of Kalofer.
