We just opened a new hotel of our family – Rila 6aTo. Situated in the beautiful evergreen coniferous forests of Rila, in the heart of the mountain resort Panichiste , it offers amazing comfort and excellent opportunities for various types of tourism and sports activities.



Rila 6aTo, like it’s Sofia brother, offers 13 different rooms and apartments in private setting each with its own style and character. Also has a restaurant and a small spa. For sports enthusiasts there are mountain bikes to rent, and for the winter season there will be ski equipment too.



The hotel is situated just few dozens meters from Lake Panichiste , the one that the resort is named after, at about 1300 meters altitude above Separeva banya . This is the main route to visit the natural phenomenon of Seven Rila Lakes. From Rila 6aTo using a 5 km completely renovated road you can reach the chair lift to the glacial lakes. Nearby is also the reserve Skakavitsa with the eponymous waterfall. In the resort there is a visitor center of Rila National Park, where you can learn about rare plant and animal species that inhabit the protected area.



For sports lovers the area offers a number of roads and trails for biking or horseback riding. In winter in Panichiste there are three small ski slopes – Azhdera and Bekyara equipped with 400 -meter ski lifts, and in the central part of the resort there is an easier track and lift for beginners. For the more advanced ideal conditions for skiing are offerd by the ski slopes along the 2-kilometers long chair lift to the Rila Lakes and the almost kilometer long drag-lift above it on top of a mountain. The two facilities together create conditions for a very interesting and varied continuous ski-run with a total length of about 4.5 km .
