02. Todorova House

The house was built in 1985 in typical style Zlatograd. It restored in 2007. Since the autumn of 2008 functions as a guest house.



03. For the city

Zlatograd is the southernmost city in Bulgaria. It is located in Smolyan region and is close to the border with Greece.



Celebrates with song Delyu Hajdutin that is worn in space. Its territory is the oldest built during the Ottoman rule the church in the Rhodopes - Assumption - built in 1834. Characteristic appearance of the city and gives the architectural reserve. Zlatograd is a hub of the oldest traditions of material culture and lifestyle of Bulgarian people. The buildings in the reserve feature white walls around the yards with the open of tables with broad oak doors. There are elements of Plovdiv and Ksantiiski type. In the yards of most houses have wells, surrounded by oak baskets with turns on the skipping rope and eaves of roof tiles. Zlatograd registered 120 architectural and archaeological monument.
