The Uzana locality is located at the foot of Mount Ispolin (1523.40 m), on the territory of the municipality of Gabrovo, in the western part of the Shipchen section of the Central Stara Planina, in the heart of Bulgaria. The meadow is at an altitude of 1220 to 1352 m above sea level. Uzana attracts guests with its silence, its beautiful nature, its clean mountain air and amenities - hotels and year-round activities. Uzana has the status of a resort complex. Here is located the Geographical Center of Bulgaria, which is included in the National Tourist Movement 100 National Tourist Sites.



There are eight ski slopes equipped with lifts in the area, the largest of which is 1,300 m long. The snow-covered meadow is also a good field for kite-boarding. At Uzana we also have a horse base, numerous hiking trails and other eco activities. The nearest exit point to Uzana is the town of Gabrovo, which is 22 km away on an asphalt road. In the city of Gabrovo, there are numerous places of cultural and historical interest, such as the Eter Open Air Ethnographic Museum, the National Museum of Education and the House of Humor and Satire Museum, the Sokol Monastery, the Bozhentsi Architectural and Historical Reserve and many others.
