Pionerska Hut is located in the Big Village area at 1520 m asl, in Northwest Rila, 80 km from Sofia and 17 km from Sapareva Banya. It can be reached on a well maintained asphalt road even in harsh winter conditions. Renovated and refurbished, the hut offers tranquility and the opportunity to relax in the beautiful scenery during all seasons of the year.



The capacity of the hut is 88 beds, with 23 rooms, including:

- 5 rooms with private bathroom, 1 pair, 4 triples.

- 6 double rooms, 3 with 3 beds, 3 with 4 beds, 3 with five beds, 1 with 6, 7, 9 and 10 beds.

- with bathrooms and bathrooms.



It is equipped with local heating and hot water.



There is a restaurant with 60 seats available for guests, suitable for big celebrations as well as for friendly dinners and meetings. There is also a kitchenette where tourists can eat their own food. Also free parking.



Pioneering can be the starting point for numerous trails in this part of the mountain reaching various scenic areas. The hut offers a mountain guide for organized groups.
