Hotel Tzarev vrah, Rila Monastery offers 130 beds in total.
The present-day hotel complex Tsarev Vrah originated in 1939 - then a small hotel part and a popular Rila restaurant were built with their own funds by the monks in the Rila Monastery. Over the years, there have been many changes and reconstructions, ownership has also changed. Today it is again the property of the monk brother in the Rila monastery.
The hotel base is modest and has 130 seats, a restaurant with 100 seats and a summer garden with a barbeque with 130 seats. The kitchen in the restaurant is traditionally Bulgarian and in the garden, the dishes are prepared on a plate. Here you can taste the most delicious trout in the region.
For your complete rest, we can offer three types of rooms - one, two, and three beds. All of them have their own bathroom and are furnished according to the traditions of the Rila Monastery. Each of the rooms has a view either to the hotel or to the mountains around, or both.
The hotel has local heating in order to always be warm and cozy to our guests in the cool Rila nights.
