Description:
The hotel/restaurant Fedora is located in the Balkan Mountains between the scenic small town Teteven and the mountain resort Ribaritsa. It is built on the brink of the river Beli Vit and boasts a large coffee terrace overlooking the river and its own bridge. There is a rock beach with a cool river pool for the hot days of summer. During summer, the river and the old beech forest nearby provide relief from the heat; in the winter, the fireplace and central heating ensure that the hotel stays warm and comfortable.
The hotel was built in 2008. There are 5 convenient rooms for two with a possibility for a children’s bed. Each room has all basic provisions, including a bathroom/shower room, satellite TV and a hair dryer and a balcony with a view towards the mountain and/or the river.
The pretty restaurant (seating capacity 40+, opening times 9AM-midnight) offers a wide variety of beverages and meals, including both well-known meals and local delicacies such as several varieties of salads and specialties from Balkan trout. There is a barbecue. The hotel has its own parking lot.
There is a fishing station very close to the hotel. The resort village of Ribaritsa with its broader variety of entertainment (i.e. clubs, guided tours, off-road racing, skiing) is 2 km away. The hotel/restaurant Fedora is a good base to explore the Teteven area and its natural attractions (hiking paths, caves, waterfalls) and historic sites (monasteries, monuments, etc.). It is located about 120km North-East from Sofia (a 1h30 min. drive from Sofia and Sofia Airport).
