The Samovodska Charshia has been the old market of the medieval capita of Bulgaria.
At the beginning of 19th century when the town developed many artisan workshops, bakeries and cafes emerged there.
Being a part of the architectural reserve of the Varusha quarter, today the Samovodska Charshia is a rare mixture of the old authentic atmosphere amidst the town.
