Description:
The "Polly " Country House is in the village of Krassen, 16 km avay from Russe. The village is situated by the Russensky Lom River flowing down a very picturesque canyon through the Danube plain. The landscape here is spectacular with its sharp crags, rock fragments, unique rock formations, and caves not yet investigated. There are plants and animals of different species, some very rare and under protection. The house is a two-storey building with two cozy double bed rooms, a sitting room, a dining room and a bathroom on each floor, a wine room with fireplace in the basemant. The kitchen is well equipped and suitable for self cooked meals. If requested in advance, the hospitable and obliding hosts are ready to prepare some Bulgarian cuisine at the guests ' will.
Tourists will enjoy the pleasant walks along the echo-paths in the river valley of the Russensky Lom River. The river itself as well, as the fish breeding pools in neighboring place are just for anglery. One day excursions to Russe, the middleage castle "Tcherven ", Ivanovo rock monastery, Basarbovo rock monastery, "Orlova Tchuka " cave.
By preliminary request roasted meals can be cooked on a mud-plastered domestic oven.
