Description:
Bashtin Kut (adapted translation: Father’s spot or Native land) is a complex of harmonically combined 4 double rooms, each with a color cable TV. The furniture is in the typical Bulgarian revival style. All pieces of furniture are from massive wood, touched by the hands of the most-famous Koprivshtitsa masters. The heating is guaranteed throughout the whole year with local heating, equipped with modern UPS-system. In the yard of Bashtin Kut you will find an exposition giving information about the history of Koprivshtitsa and its heroes – Georgi Benkovski, Todor Kableshkov, Lyuben Karavelov and Dimcho Debelyanov. A part of the exposition is also the wine keg which untied the tongues of Hadzhi Gencho and Grandpa Liben.
Here, in the yard, on the large terrace, under the light of the lanterns, surrounded by ikebana, listening to the verses of Dimcho Debelyanov, reading the Blood Letter of Todor Kableshkov and I Love you my Dear Fatherland from Lyuben Karavelov, surrounded by the Bulgarian revival style architecture, one can return years in the past, relaxes detached from the daily routine and charges with energy for tomorrow.
