The four-star RILA is the most impressive hotel in Borovets and is one of the largest ski lodges on the Balkan Peninsula. It has an excellent location as a ski-in/ski-out hotel - at the very bottom of the ski runs, 50m from the quad chair lift and 200m from the Gondola lift.
Rila provides a perfect holiday for every age and every season, with its opportunities for sports, relaxation, sightseeing and cultural programs, and various clubs and restaurants. For nature lovers, Rila provides qualified mountain guides and select hiking trips, tailored to the individual tourist’s ability. Other activities include mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, picnicking, and ATV safaris.
Rila was completely renovated in 2001 and offers 256 double rooms, 266 standard suites with twin beds and a kitchenette (for up to 4 people), 2 superior suites and 2 lofts. All rooms and suites have balconies overlooking the mountain and are equipped with telephone, radio and satellite TV.
